Write for Us

ThePleasantPersonality explores personality frameworks — MBTI, Enneagram, DiSC and the Big Five — and what they actually tell us about how people work, at home and at work. We publish work from writers, practitioners and specialists who can bring our readers something they cannot get from a search-results summary.

What we publish

We write for readers using personality frameworks to understand themselves, their colleagues or their teams. The strongest pitches speak to that directly. Topics we regularly commission:

  • MBTI, Enneagram, DiSC and Big Five frameworks
  • Personality in the workplace: teams, management and hiring
  • Career fit and professional development
  • Communication styles and interpersonal dynamics
  • The research behind personality assessment — and its limits
  • Self-understanding without the horoscope treatment

What we look for in a draft

  • Original work, not published elsewhere, written for a general reader rather than a specialist one.
  • Claims that are supported. Where you cite research, statistics or reporting, link the primary source.
  • A clear structure with real headings — most of our readers arrive from search and scan before they read.
  • Roughly 900–1,800 words, though a shorter piece that earns its length is always preferable to a padded one.
  • A short author bio and, where relevant, your professional credentials.

What we do not accept

We decline these without exception, regardless of budget: gambling, betting and casino content; adult and dating-cam content; cryptocurrency and trading promotions; essay-writing and academic-cheating services; pharmaceutical sales outside a licensed context; and any content that is machine-generated at volume without a named author standing behind it.

We also decline medical or legal claims that are stated as fact without a source, and anything that would encourage a reader in distress to avoid professional help.

Sponsored and partner content

We work with a limited number of brands and organisations on sponsored features and ongoing partnerships. These are handled separately from editorial submissions and are subject to the same standards on accuracy, sourcing and reader value. For current availability and rates, contact us with the subject line Partnership enquiry.

How to pitch

Email contact@thecalypte.com with a short outline of your idea, the angle you plan to take, and a link or two to previous work. Please pitch before writing the full piece — it saves everyone time, and it lets us tell you whether we have covered the topic already.

We read everything that arrives and reply to the pitches we want to take further. If you have not heard from us within two weeks, please assume it is not one for us this time.
